the perfect make ahead meal. I make this on repeat and it's quickly become the favorite for busy sports nights.

Chicken Chilli Ingredients:
whole chicken shredded
1 poblano pepper, diced
1 green pepper, diced
1 small yellow onion, diced
2 cans of beans, drained. I prefer using white beans ie: cannellini or navy
2 32oz containers of chicken broth
1 whole fat cream cheese, cubed
16oz of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 bag of frozen corn
Salt and pepper to taste, we also like to add hot sauce at the end

Directions:
Start by dicing peppers and onions, feel free to substitute to your liking. While they sauté in the pan shred your chicken. A rotisserie chicken works great for a quick meal but I also love cooking my own in a 375 degree oven for about an hour. Add chicken broth to the sautéed veggies scrapping the sides of the pan. Add cubed cream cheese and let melt, you might need to whisk. Once melted add the beans, chicken, and shredded cheese. Stir and leave on a low heat. About 15 minutes prior to serving add the bag of frozen corn and stir. We love to serve ours with sliced avocado, cilantro and a bit of cream cheese. I find this best when made a few hours before serving (and it’s always best the next day). Enjoy!

the most incredible cake recipe ever. made this coconut cake for Christmas and it was absolutely delicious. for outfit details comment 'shop' otherwise recipe is below ❤️

Coconut Cake
2.5c flour
2tsp baking powder
1/2tsp baking soda
1tsp salt
1 2/3c sugar
1/2c sour cream
5 egg whites, room temp
2 tsp vanilla extract
1tsp coconut extract
1c unsweetened canned coconut milk
1c sweetened shredded coconut

Frosting
1c unsalted butter
8oz cream cheese, softened
5c powdered sugar
2tbsp canned coconut milk
1/2tsp vanilla extract
1/8tsp salt
2c sweetened shredded coconut

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line round pans with parchment paper. Whisk together dry ingredients - flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside. Using a handheld mixer beat butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs white, and then add sour cream, vanilla and coconut extract. Continue mixing and slowly add dry ingredients and coconut milk. Beat on low speed until combined. Add shredded coconut and stir by hand, batter will be thick. Pour batter into pans and bake for approximately 21-23 minutes.

To make the frosting using a whisk mixer, mix together cream cheese and butter. Add powdered sugar, coconut milk and vanilla extract with mixer running on low. If too thick, add more milk. If too thin, add more sugar. You want to make sure the cake is completely cool before frosting. In fact I like to make my cake a day before eating and pop them in the freezer. giving life to what are normally unused pieces in my silver collection - my cream & sugar bowls. all you need is a floral oasis, some greenery and candle sticks. I kept the greens on the outside edge of the oasis leaving a space in the middle to place the candle. perfect holiday centerpiece for our kitchen table.

A lot of taste testing was done 🤭 made a big batch of Chex mix to have for bar snacks but box them up for a great hostess or teacher gift. easy enough for little hands to participate too!

Ingredients:
1 box of rice Chex
1 1/2c cheese crackers
1 1/2c mini pretzels
1c mixed nuts
1/2c unsalted butter, melted
3tbsp Worcestershire
2tsp salt
1 1/2tsp garlic powder
1/2tsp onion powder
1/4tsp cayenne pepper
1tbsp hot sauce

1. Combine dry snacks into a large bowl and mix.
2. Mix together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and all seasonings. Slowly drizzle the butter mixture over the cereal, mixing halfway through.
3. Place onto two baking sheets, spreading it into an even layer. Bake in a 250 degree oven for about 1 hour, stirring every 20mins.

Makes the perfect bar snacks, hostess or holiday gift! Thank you, @tastesbetterfromscratch for the inspo!

filled with gratitude this Thanksgiving eve. setting this table in our new home and filling it with the people we love is a dream come true 🤍

the garden that keeps giving. preparing our Thanksgiving table with dried hydrangeas, black eyed Susan's, dried grasses and some pheasant feathers I found on Amazon. I used a dry oasis to hold everything in place. it was my first time working with dried florals and while it was a messy job I really enjoyed it. flower vessel was a thrifted find ❤️

easy make ahead sausage egg bake. make sure to save for a quick and delicious breakfast!

Ingredients:
1 loaf of bread approx 12oz, cubed
1lb ground sausage
2c milk
1 3/4c shredded cheese
12 eggs
salt, pepper, dried chives

1. While browning the sausage, cut bread into small cube like pieces. Add to a greased baking dish.
2. Scramble eggs and add in milk, salt and pepper.
3. Shred cheese and combine to eggs.
4. Once meat is cooked add on top of bread, spreading evenly across the bread.
5. Pour half of egg mixture on top of bread, lightly pressing bread down to soak up eggs. Pour the rest of the eggs in and repeat. Optional: add dried chives to the top.
6. Cover with tinfoil and place in fridge for a minimum of 3hrs or overnight.
7. When ready to cook place dish in a preheated 375 degree oven. Cook for 30mins covered, remove tin foil and cook for another 30mins.

balancing out all the pb&j's I ate while he was gone 🤭 in all seriousness this was absolutely delicious and bonus points for leftovers.

Traditional Beef Stew
2lbs stew meat
3tbsp flour
1/2tsp garlic powder
1/2tsp pepper
3tbsp oil olive oil
1 onion chopped
6c beef broth
1/2c red wine (optional)
4 carrots cut into 1 inch pieces
4 celery cut into 1 inch pieces
3tbsp tomato paste
1tsp dried rosemary
2tbsp cornstarch
3/4c frozen peas

1.Combine the flower, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Tosss beef in flour mixture
2.Heat oil in large dutch oven. Shake off any excess flour and place beef in pot to cook. Cook in small batches if need be.
3.Add onions to the pot, more oil if needed and cook until they begin to soften, about 3 minutes.
4.Add beef brother and optional red wine while scraping any brown bits in the pan.
5.Still win browned beef, potatoes, carrots, celery, tomato paste and rosemary. Reduce heat to medium low, cover and simmer for at least 1 hour.
6.Mix equal parts cornstarch and water, add until you get your desired thickness.
7.Stir in peas and simmer 10 minutes prior to serving. Enjoy!
