Florida Holiday Party Look

Florida winters can be hot and sometimes muggy. So with holiday parties in full swing it’s better to be prepared, and I like to have options! Last season I picked up this Ralph Lauren tie-detailed shirt not really knowing what to pair it with. I thought it was a sharp look for the office, but could I really pull off this trend? When visiting my favorite local boutique, Influence Style here in Sarasota I snagged these Kelly green shorts by Alexis. I’m a big fan of the brand as the fit is both feminine and flawless. Obviously the color is perfect for the holiday however these will transition great into spring and summer as well.
Together I think the look is both classic and chic for the holidays. I’ve linked below a similar shirt below as well as my shorts.
If your curious about the exterior decor of our home I kept it simple this year. The wreath is a plastic boxwood that I hung with command hooks. The poinsettia is from Pier One and actually clips on, it was both easy and inexpensive. And of course appropriate for our Florida winter weather!
