Always on the hunt for the perfect jeans? Well me too - and these ones are both unexpected in price and quality.
On a recent trip to Orlando for my daughters dance competition I took a couple hours to head over to one of my favorite stores -- Zara. I would like to mention that the next time your at Disney you MUST make time to stop in, they have an amazing kids department too. Anyways…I was waiting in line to try on what seemed like 20 things and ended up next to a table full of jeans. I’m not one to even humor trying on jeans unless they are my typical preferred designers like Madewell, Citizens or Agolde. However one particular pair caught my eye.
Do you ever see those must try styles like the fringe edge or dark grey wash or even the baggy 80s cut Mom jeans but can’t stomach paying $150++? Well I feel ya sister, me too. I like to spend my money on classic pieces that can be re-worn season after season. If I’m dying to follow some must have trend I look for a more budget friendly option.
Not sure if it was the time I spent waiting for my dressing room but I decided to grab a pair to try. I went for both a dark grey wash and a pair with the fringe trim. They are a true high waist (hitting right under my belly button) and they hit me right above my ankle bone (keep in mind I’m 5’11) so for anyone shorter then me they would probably be perfect. They have a decent amount of stretch on them however I still sized up to a USA 8. (Typically a 28 in other designer brands)
Don’t you love when you have no expectations for something and it turns out better than expected?? Best part, my new favorite jeans are only $39. Yup - you heard that right. Not sure what sizes are left but you may want to go try a pair!
