Egg Bake Recipe

Expecting lots of company this week? Well look no further, this egg bake recipe is not only delicious but easy and fast to make! Need leftovers? Go ahead and double it.


Just this past week we even enjoyed this for dinner with a simple salad. I’m telling you, it’s a must try!



Ingredients:

12 eggs, beaten 1 1/2 lbs ground breakfast sausage 12 oz shredded cheddar cheese 7 slices of white bread, torn into pieces (I prefer to use a loaf of brioche bread)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off grease and set aside to cool. Pour the eggs into a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish

3. In a separate large bowl combine the sausage, bread and 12oz of cheese. Mix well and pour this into the egg mixture. Top with the remaining cheese and cover with foil.


4 Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, uncover, and bake until casserole is golden brown and bubbly.
