Target Haul

Over the last year Target has really stepped up their game in the clothing department. They have some great new labels and I think they're giving some bigger brands a run for their money. If you follow me on Instagram head over to my stories today where I’m doing a big try on session, I will also be saving it to my highlights labeled “try-on".

First up are these distressed denim jeans, I love the higher waist and stretch to them. They are super comfortable as well. I’m wearing a size 6 here however I will be trading for the size 4 online. I just found out that tall options are available online which is great, for reference I’m 5’11 and 140lbs. I typically wear a 27/28 in designer jeans.

The top is just a basic v-neck which is also available in a variety of other colors. Wearing a size small.

If the distressed look isn’t your thing I would suggest trying this dark wash version. Same comfortable fit and high waist, I just need to order the tall version online. My top is a lighter weight knit in a lime green color. Neon is going to be huge this season.

Another trend for the new year is tie dye. This is just one of many options that the store is currently offering. I loved this more understated version perfect for pairing either with jeans or black leggings.

Continuing on with the tie dye trend is this adorable flowy top. It can be worn so many ways and I love how the back is slightly longer than the front. Runs tts and wearing a small. If you don’t own a pair of these leggings they are a must, incredibly comfortable and easily worn both day and night. They really suck you in so I sized up to a medium in the leggings.

It also pairs great with my this jean skirt. The skirt is high waist yet not too short which allows the top to be tied in the front. Skirt runs tts, wearing a size 6.

Same skirt different top, this knit is more lightweight then it appears. I could easily throw it on for a boat ride on a cooler day. It runs a little big so I sized down to a small.

I posted about this set last week and to say I’m obsessed is an understatement. If I had a travel uniform this would be it! It’s meant to be oversized so I sized way down, wearing both an xs in the top and bottom.

Both the top and bottoms can also be worn separately which I love.

My sneakers in the photos are not from Target and definitely a splurge however I’ve linked them below in case your interested.
